Apple's developer schedule for iPhone Duo

Submissions for the Duo are open and the device ships on 23 October. Round 2 of the Group Labs is now open for registration, the first round is on demand, the forum Q&As are live, workshops have spread to more cities, and there is a full-day performance event in Cupertino on 29 October. Times below are Apple's official PT slots plus UTC.

iPhone Duo Group Labs — Round 2

Live online sessions with Apple engineers and designers: ask questions, get answers, follow the discussion on creating and updating apps for iPhone Duo. Registration is open for both.

The first Group Labs, recorded
Apple has published both sessions from the September round and a written summary of the highlights. That summary is the source behind our answered-questions post: state across a fold, the outer display in a standing pose, availability of scene accessories, and how far back the new APIs can be gated.

Apple's page says more Group Labs are coming soon; this page is updated when they are announced.

Q&As on the Apple Developer Forums

The three Duo Q&As — Photos & Camera, SwiftUI and UIKit — have finished, and their threads stay open as reading:

iPhone Duo Workshops

In person · more cities added
Hands-on sessions at Apple Developer Centers
Apple says these workshops let you optimize your apps and explore resizability for all screen sizes, and that new cities have been added for this round. Dates and locations are listed on Apple's filtered page, which is the only place they are published.

Meet with Apple — 29 October, Cupertino

All-day event · in person or livestream
Boost your app's speed and efficiency
Identify performance opportunities, use Xcode and Instruments to gather and analyse diagnostics, and turn the data into action. Two ways in: request a seat in Cupertino, or sign up for the livestream.

Tools and documentation

Times are taken from Apple's Get ready for iPhone Duo page and the October 2026 Hello Developer newsletter, which list them in Pacific Time; the UTC column is our conversion (PT + 7 hours while PDT is in effect, which covers all of October). Where Apple lists a session without a time, we leave it out rather than guess.
